Auburn Hills, Michigan – June 17, 2014 —Continental Structural Plastics (CSP), a global leader in light-weight composite solutions, announced today it has named Julie Benton as its new vice president of Human Resources.
Reporting directly to Chairman and CEO Frank Macher, Benton will be responsible for developing the company’s global human resources strategy including organizational talent development, labor relations and talent management. With more than 25 years of global experience in a diverse range of industries, she brings significant expertise in mergers and acquisitions, multi-site integration, and labor and employee relations.
“As we continue to grow as a company, it is crucial that we have the proper team in place to develop and implement effective strategies to support that growth, and to ensure consistent policies and practices are being followed enterprise-wide,” said Macher. “Julie brings a wealth of relevant expertise to our organization, and we are excited to have her on board.”
Prior to joining CSP, Benton spent the past two years working as a chief people consultant for The HR Department, a human resources consulting organization supporting executive search firms and mid-sized manufacturing companies. Additional professional experience includes serving as Vice President of Human Resources at global Tier One automotive suppliers Faurecia and Siemens VDO Automotive.
